I want to lose 20 lbs before Aug 15. A Person my size (5’0) should weight 100 lbs but I’m biracial and have a thicker body structure than a average person my height (beyonce thighs). So I also wondering if me weighing 131 would be a good weight? my weight is 149. I dont drink soda and walk for 2 hours a day.
ok I’m 5’0 , I have thicker thighs and I’m only 104 (not to make you feel bad) but either way you look at youre over weight at best at our height you could go 128 without being overweight. try a nutritional plan I use herbalife. I’m only 15 years old and I want to lose 20 lbs safely by doing cardio exercises at the gym. How long and at what intensity level should I do it. And also how long should it take if I’m 210 lbs now and I am going for 190 lbs.

 
Eating healthy and excersing go hand in hand. On a diet make sure you eat fresh fruit and vegetables (especially the dark green ones), lean meats, low fat dairy, and whole grains whole. They are not only good for you, but they help curb your appetite. Try to exercise at least 45-60 minutes a day, and as long as your consistently active during that time, its okay to mix it up between running/walking/swimming/or other sports, however cardio is the best in losing weight. To lose 20 lbs, it would probably take about 10 weeks, seeing how it is safe to lose around 2 pounds a week. Hope this helps!

You need a good combination of aerobic activity and resistance training combined with a healthy diet. It is not recommended to lose more than 1-3 lbs a week. If you want to lose weight the correct and safe way that will stay off for the long-term you need a good exercise and nutrition plan. A good program looks like this: Always warm up and cool down Muscular strength & endurance-you need a good resistance training program that includes exercises for all muscle groups(hips, chest, upper and mid back, legs (quads and hamstrings), shoulders, lower back, upper arms (biceps and triceps), calves, forearms, abdomen, and the gluteus maximus). Your intensity should be 70-80% 1-RM or 8-12-RM, 8-12 reps, 1 or more sets, 3 times a week for 6 weeks or more. You should begin with 1 exercise for each major muscle group and make sure the days you do resistance training are not consecutive meaning you don’t exercise the same muscle group two days in a row. As you continue your program you can add more exercises, add weight, and change up your program to include more days or just work specific muscle groups on specific days. As your muscles grow stronger you will be able to reduce the rest time between each set. You should rest for about 30 seconds between sets. Muscle is metabolically active and therefore when you gain muscle it burns more calories and helps to raise your metabolism. I have a photoshoot coming up in about 10 days. I don’t care if it’s healthy or not, I just need to slim down a bit, and shed hopefully about 5-10 pounds. Don’t leave responses about healthy lifestyles, because this is just an urgent question, I know how to take care of myself. I just need to lose some pounds before the shoot. I know wrestlers learn how to lose pounds quickly, to make weight. Anyone knowledgable in that department, or can give any tips on quick weight loss…please help!
Dangerously long sauna sessions, anything you can do to sweat, starving yourself and lots of water, if you don’t drink water your body will start to horde it and you will become bloated, if you want that “shrink-wrapped” look then avoid water and eat dry oatmeal/cereal for 2-3 days before the shoot. Eating dry grains will pull the water from under your skin in order to digest the food. Wear soft comfortable shoes as you will not have any padding on the bottom of your feet since no water will be there and a good moisturizer for your skin. You will feel like death but you’ll look great, if that’s what your going for.
