I need some ideas! I've been dieting for one and a half months and I've lost 9 pounds and I'm stuck. No matter what I eat I don't seem to lose weight. I am going to a family reunion in 9 days is there anything I can do to slim down my stomach and feel better in a bathing suit in 9 days?
how about doing some exercize for a change? diet will only take you so far, and if you starve yourself you'll just retain more fat.

Hi !
I have answered this question so many times that I now just copy and paste my story !
If you want to loose fat, I suggest eating a well balanced diet.
Grilled or baked lean meats, fruits, fiber, vegetables, water and un – salted nuts.
Exercise 5 days of the week, alternating with cardio and strength training. Do not cross out anything from your " diet", save the 2 days that you do not work out for being able to eat junk foods. You will not over indulge, after 2 weeks of eating a well balanced diet, on the 2 off days you have, you will not want as much junk food.
I lost 105 pounds in 1 year by eating this this way.

Hi there! Eating healthy is key to a successful weight loss. Stick to a healthy diet without starving yourself and this should help tremendously. If you have fat around your abdominals, you need to do cardio. Running, jogging, jumping rope or even walking are all good cardio workouts. Cardio works in helping you burn fat. After doing so, you can do regular workouts such as crunches to help you tone up your body and get slim. Try 8 Minute Abs on YouTube. I'm in love with this program! It works very well and you'll start seeing results quickly if you do it daily. I hope I helped and the best of luck to you!

The Atkins diet is quite unhealthy but it can help you lose weight in a matter of days.
The idea behind it is to cut out carbs, this means your body starts to take energy from the fat already stored in your body.

studies have shown the faster you lose weight, the less likely you keep it off. Plus it is mostly "water weight" that you lose. So I wouldn't rush this..you want this weight loss/healthy eating to last a lifetime right? I understand the urgency when you have a special occation coming up (or a swimsuit). but you'll FEEL best if you don't crash diet, and how you feel will show more than if you lose alot of water weight. Exercise is important, you will look glowing and healthy, start off with an arobic activity like even speed walking for 30 mins. In the later afternoon, work on some muscle toning exercises. search in youtube for exercise videos!

You may not like the answer i have here.
First of all, if you have some serious will power, you can do a juice fast-buy a juicer and drink juiced veg and fruit, making sure you add banana to the fruit juices to give extra substance and engergy.
But in all honesty? very few people can lose weight in this way and keep it off. In almost every case, people (myself included) who lose weight in this way, will pile all the weight back on……..and more! This is a result of the body going into starvation mode, you can't help but make up for all the food your body has been missing and tend to overcompensate.
After years of struggling with my weight, and now having got stuck with a terrible eating disorder, through doing crazy things like the above, then desperatley trying to lose the weight i've piled on again afterwards, the best thing you can do is this…………………..
Follow a healthy eating plan like weight watchers-you don't need to go to a meeting, you can join online. It will tell you exactly what you should be eating and how many calories you should be eating each day in a way to become more healthy and lose weight gradualy, but also in a way that will last, and, change your attitude towards food.
Secondly, plenty of cardio excersise, such as, long distance running, cycling, rowing, cross training.
Running always does it for me, and you feel great once you get fit.
Set yourself a goal and sign yourself up for a half marathon in six months.
All the best.

A few years ago, I was almost 200 pounds. I went from a 14 to a 2 in a month. I used the Alli pills – they're expensive, but they work really well. Try the pills, but be sure you follow their recipes. Some of their meals are really good. While on the diet, exercise regularly (for example, I did 15-30 minutes on my treadmill daily), and choose recipes wisely. When I was on the diet, I made my own "rules." The recipe book had informational sections (for example, 'on the first week, if you weigh________ pounds, eat meals from this book that have _______ grams of fat or less.) about what to eat. I ate meals with 5 grams of fat or less ONLY. Even if you don't use the pills, get the recipe book. It gives all the nutrition information for each recipe so you know exactly what you're putting into your body. I was even able to have desserts.

Hello
First, I understand where you're coming from.
Here's what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.
The reality is that there are no shortcuts or easy ways to get in good shape. Sorry, but someone needed to tell you this.
As long as you get conscious about what you are doing, you will see the results.
Below you will find the four principles that you need to keep in mind in your weight-loss journey.
http://topsecreteverloss.blogspot.com/
1.Forget About Diets
People that go from diet to diet never reach a stable weight, let alone a good shape. The reason is quite simple: diets are, by their very nature, temporary. You can’t expect to eat properly for two or three weeks and fix your weight problems for the rest of the year.
2.Proper Nutrition
If you want to keep your weight and fat percentage under control, you will need to learn the basics of nutrition. Once you learn them, you will be able to eat healthy throughout the year.
3.Physical Exercise
Eating healthy and having a caloric deficit will only take you half the way. The other key factor is physical exercise.
4.Discipline and Perseverance
You can start eating healthy and exercising properly, but unless you stick doing it regularly, the results won’t appear (if they do, they won’t last).
Discipline and perseverance are key here.
If you want to Lose Weight ,I can recommend you to check out

It is a great program that helped me.
