I bet you can’t believe the title to this article…do you? But, it’ true! On this quick weight loss diet, there are a lot of foods similar to this that will help you lose weight quickly. But, more on that in a minute. First, let me give you this recipe:

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER OAT MUFFINS

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons of pure cocoa powder
  • Pinch of stevia
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter
Directions: 

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together in large bowl.

  3. Stir until mixed well.
  4. Scoop into muffin pan coated with cooking spray.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.

Obesity rates have soared since the early 1980′s and they don’t seem to be slowing down. Why? Well, there are a number of reasons, but here is one Fat Loss Secret I want to expose right now:

MYTH – Low-fat diets lead to weight loss and a healthier lifestyle

This myth has been preached to us over-and-over again and it is absolutely wrong! This is one reason our nation is beginning to make the Pillsbury Doughboy look slim.

This myth started in the 1980′s when it was believed that too much fat in our diets was the cause of weight gain. This led to the development of all kinds low-fat versions of perfectly nutritious foods such sour cream, yogurt, cheese and hundreds of others.

The problem is that while the manufacturers reduced the fat, they replaced it with carbohydrates, starch, and sugars to make the products taste better. The result…one of today’s obesity problems.

Plus, it’s also one of the causes for the increased rate of heart attacks. Low-fat foods still contain unhealthy doses of saturated and trans fat.

What is even worst, people see the terms “low-fat” and/or “fat-free” and take that as a green light to eat as much as they want. Researchers at the Journal of Marketing Research found that people ate 28% more chocolate if the chocolate had the term “low-fat” or “reduced fat” attached to the label.

I was wondering my way through the internet the other day…looking for information on quick diets.

You know me (and, if you don’t, you should know me by now), I’m fascinated by quick weight loss programs that really work and especially those that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

I came across an article published on Buzzle…it was the article’s headline that caught my attention. The article was called “Why Fat Loss 4 Idiots Might Be Wrong For You“. That caught my attention, because as most of you know, I had used the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet plan to lose the 35 pounds that I’ve now lost. So, I had to find out what this author found wrong with this quick weight loss diet plan.

Thinking that you might also like to read that article, I’ve posted that article below. Here it is:

Why Fat Loss 4 Idiots May Be Wrong For You

Fat loss 4 idiots is not for everyone. I have found a few flaws in the diet that may make it not good for you.

When I first looked at the Fat Loss for idiots diet I was really skeptical. The last thing that I want to see as a fitness and health expert is a bunch of people starving themselves and getting unhealthy in the search for some magical 5 pounds or more a week weight loss.

First you eat until you are satisfied so there is not binge eating. Next there is the whole cycled diet where you stay on the diet for a few days and then you go off the diet for four days. And finally there is a diet generator that creates a good diet for you by asking you what you like and what you do not like.

But of course there are drawbacks to anything and this diet is especially tough for some. Here are the drawbacks and why Fat Loss 4 Idiots may not be for you.

The dreaded all fruit day – Some people just do not like fruit a lot and there is one day where you eat nothing but fruit. This does make things difficult as you need to follow the diet exactly

Not a lot of exercise – If you live a very active lifestyle you will find that you may not have the energy that you are used to on the fat loss for idiots diet. There are not enough calories for an athlete and as a bodybuilder you would find the carbs too high still if you are cutting up for a contest.

No Alcohol allowed – Actually you can have one drink a day but for many people used to consuming 2 or more drinks a day this cutback along with the weight loss and the stress of a changed diet may be too much to bear.

Other than these three restrictions to the fat loss 4 idiots diet , I believe you will probably find that the diet works for the majority of people trying to lose 20 or 30 pounds.

Well I was proven wrong. I posted a review of the fat loss 4 idiots diet -you can read those reviews,and was buried in responses from people telling me that they were skeptical as well but the diet did work for them. Once I dug deeper into Fat Loss 4 Idiots I found that there were a couple of things that made the diet make sense for losing weight.

The latest fad to learning how to lose weight quickly is to learn how to use the principles of calorie shifting. Calorie shifting is fairly complicated, and most dieters can’t figure out how to do it. So, what exactly is calorie shifting and how does it work?

Losing weight rapidly is not hard to do, especially if you’re using a diet plan like Fat Loss 4 Idiots, but there are other things you can do to help you lose that weight. Quick weight loss diets like the ones that I sponsor on this blog are great, but don’t overlook these other simple weight loss ideas:

> Set small, doable weight loss goals. For example, you might set a goal such as to lose 20-25 pounds over the next 30 days. Just make sure it’s doable. Once you achieve that goal, you’ll feel good about yourself and you’ll start setting more goals.

> Hang your favorite dress or bathing suit that you can no longer fit into a conspicuous place where you can see it every day. This will help drive you to achieve those weight loss goals.

> Surround yourself with people who support you and your weight loss goals. Stay away from those that are negative about it.

> Drink lots of water and take more walks. While exercising is not necessary for a quick weight loss diet, keeping your metabolism charged up certainly helps.

> Don’t get stressful or nervous about not achieving your weight loss goals. Relax yourself. Breathe slowly. Be positive about achieving your goals.

I was recently doing some research on quick diets and I ran across this article on EzineArticles.com. The article was written by Jana Suzanne who is a health nut.

In this article she talks about two different types of quick diets that allow you to lose weight without being hungry. I was impressed! So, I thought I would show that article here so all of you could read it, also. Here’s that article:

These quick diets are so simple; you can begin to lose weight immediately and start seeing results you want!

These two quick diet plans look great if you only need to lose 10-20 pounds. But, if you need to lose more than that, I personally like the diets that I sponsor on this blog (see banners on the left side of this page) such as the Fat Burning Furnace.
