One of the best ways to lose weight quickly is to avoid eating obesity additives. Obesity additives are mostly artificial or man-made chemicals and components that the food industry adds to almost everything in our grocery stores to make food last longer and taste “better”. obesity additives

First, let me say this… nearly all of the food that you can find in a grocery store is put there by 4-5 HUGE companies that dominate the food industry. And, they put that food there for 1 reason… to make money. The more they sell, the more money they make… I’m sorry to say it, but that’s how our economy works.

The problems with obesity additives are as follows:

1. They interfere with a hormone in your body that’s called leptin. This interference causes the body to constantly feel hungry which leads to overeating.

2. They stimulate your body to produce more insulin. Insulin is a hunger hormone and when it’s high, you consume more food and that excess food is turned into fat… fat that is often stored in and around our belly region.

3. They are addictive… just like nicotine and cocaine… it’s difficult to eat just one potato chip.

So, how do you avoid these obesity additives? First off, you have to read the labels that printed on those cans. Avoid artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, trans fats, and anything that says hydrogenated such as hydrogenated oils. Also, avoid anything that has an ingredient that ends with “ose” such as glucose and sucrose.

One of most important things that I always tell anyone that’s interested in a quick weight loss diet is to keep those types of food that you really like to eat and just can’t seem to resist out of you house. Temptation is hard to resist. quick weight loss diet

But, I know, it’s the holiday season right now and there are a lot of goodies and treats everywhere you go…and, not just in your house. So, what can you do now?

Well, a recent study showed that there is one “strange” little herb that helped women that were overweight to reduce the foods that they snacked on by as much as 50%!

Now, I know what you’re thinking…what is this “strange” little herb?

Women in this study were divided into two groups. One group had there food supplemented with this herb and the other group (control group) did not. Researchers were surprised to find that the group that had this herb added to their food snacked 50% less than the control group and they also had greater fat loss.

This “strange” little herb is called saffron.

It’s believed that saffron reduced the stress levels within these women and that helped to reduce their anxiety and depression. That’s the thought, but it’s still being tested. We all know that stress and anxiety can lead to some unhealthy eating habits, even while on a quick weight loss diet.

And, here is a quick recipe that you may want to try this holiday season that uses saffron:

Easy Saffron Chicken

1. Add 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, one diced garlic clove, and a large pinch of saffron to 1-1/2 cups of low fat yogurt. Stir these ingredients together.

2. Add 6-8 ounces of chicken breast to the above mixture and marinate for about 15 minutes. Brush the chicken with walnut oil and place the chicken in the oven on broil.

3. Broil each side of the chicken for about 10 minutes each. The chicken shoud be cooked all the way through and be lightly brown.

4. Add some vegetables and a healthy source of carbs… Enjoy!

Nutritionist and doctors will tell you that the flab you have around your belly is the deadliest fat of all kinds. The problem is, you will likely eat more but it is likely to be “nutrient-dead” and those food cravings just continue (that’s why on some diets where you are trying to lose pounds you feel hungry all the time).

The human body is an incredible machine. After dieting for about 1 week, the human body starts fighting back by reducing your metabolism…it starts shutting down the system that burns fat. Even worse, the human body now starts generating a hormone called leptin which is a “hunger” generating hormone. It’s telling your body to eat more.

Your fat loss and your diet will likely come to a STOP!

3. Obesity Additives… Throughout Your Food

Ultimately, quick weight loss diets really depend upon the individual and their attitude towards losing weight. Let’s face it, if you want to eat a whole pizza by yourself or if you want to eat two Double Big Macs, it’s your choice to do it… and nothing will change that. But, wouldn’t it be nice if there was something that would help you to resist eating all that food?

Well, now there is!

The product that I’m talking about is called Prograde Protein. Prograde Protein is a cutting-edge protein powder made from whey. I know, now you’re asking what is whey?

Ice Cream…Yes, I said Ice Cream!

Ice cream is not something that you find recommended in the suggestion box on most quick diet recipes, but you will find it here, in this suggestion box.

And, who doesn’t need some ice cream in this summer’s blistering heat!

The reason why ice cream is in my suggestion box is that this ice cream also contains some Prograde Lean…a complete meal replacement that boosts your metabolism.

Quick Diets That Boost Metabolism

Try these two ice cream recipes this summer to lose more weight:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

1-1/2 Cup Chocolate Almond Milk

1/2 Scoop (or more to taste) Prograde Lean

1-2 tsp. Natural Peanut Butter

In a blender, mix the first two ingredients very well. Place this mixture into an ice cream machine until it is almost ready. Just befor it is done, drizzle the peanut butter into the chocolate ice cream.

TIP: You just want to barely mix the peanut butter into the ice cream…you don’t want the two flavors to mix entirely together.

I want to say “Thanks” to all those readers that have contacted me after reading my article Quick Weightloss and Obesity Additives. It seems that this article woke up a good deal of people about the dangers of obesity additives.

For those visitors that have not read my other article, obesity additives are additives and compounds that food manufacturers are adding to our foods to extend their shelf life. The problem is that knowingly or unknowingly, these additives are making us obese. When I say “us”, I mean the general public.

I know that this is my personal opinion, but I can’t help but believe that these giant corporations know this. After all, it adds to their bottom lines.

Yes, I know that video is a bit quick and you may have to watch it a couple of times to digest all of the information, but in a nut-shell, here are some things that the video reveals:

> In 1990, among states participating in the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, 10 states had a prevalence of obesity less than 10% and no state had a prevalence equal to or greater than 15%.

> In 1998, no state had a prevalence less than 10%; seven states had a prevalence of obesity between 20-24%, and no state had prevalence equal to or greater than 25%.

> In 2007, only one state (Colorado) had a prevalence of obesity less than 20%. Thirty states had a prevalence equal to or greater than 25%; three of these states (Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee) had a prevalence of obesity equal to or greater than 30%.

Scary…isn’t it?! And, how do we stop it?

Aren’t you surprised when you find another quick to make fat loss secret recipe? 

And, who doesn’t like pizza? Yes… this pizza will help you to get and stay lean and it’s even healthy for you!

This pizza has become a favorite around our household and I wanted to share the recipe with you.

It only takes about 30 minutes to prep and serve this delicious pizza.

Now, to be honest, I didn’t dream up this pizza… no, I got it from a very reliable source that I’ll tell you about in a minute. But, first let me give you this recipe:

  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 white mushrooms,sliced
  • 1 cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup part skim ricotta cheese
  • 2 Tbs grated fresh Parmesan
  • 2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 6 oz. skinless chicken breast, cooked
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 12 oz. whole-wheat or whole-grain pizza crust

Preparation and Cooking:

  1. Slice the chicken breast into small chunks.
  2. Place a large pizza pan into the bottom of your oven and preheat to 450 degrees.
  3. Place the pizza sauce on the pizza crust and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella and mushrooms on top of this followed by dollops of ricotta. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Evenly spread the chopped chicken breast and finally drizzle with the olive oil.
  4. Cautiously move the pizza to the preheated pizza pan. Bake for about 10 minutes…the crust should just barely be turning color and the cheese should be melted. Take the pizza out of the oven and turn on the broiler.
  5. Once the broiler has heated up, place the pizza back in the oven. Cook 2-3 minutes… the cheese should be lightly-browned and bubbling. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with balsamic vinegar, slice, and serve.

Yield: 6 slices with each slice containing -

  • Calories: 289
  • Fat: 10 grams
  • Protein: 21 grams
  • Carbohydrates: 31 grams
  • Fiber: 6 grams

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER OAT MUFFINS

  • 1 cup oatmeal
